Within the scientific and cultural season of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Technology for the academic year 2018-2019, a training course for supervisors and staff of the laboratories of the Electrical Engineering Department was held on Monday, 19/11/2018 at the Central Computer Laboratory in the department entitled (The Use of Electronic Platform in Scientific Laboratories and its Characteristics in Improving Laboratory Performance). The workshop was delivered by Dr. Uday Ali Ahmed with the participation of the e-learning committee in the department, namely: Assist. Prof. Dr. Abbas Hussein Issa, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ivan Abdel-Zahra Hashem, Dr. Salwa Adel Abduihamid, Assist. Mr. Hussein Khudair Sayed. The workshop reviewed how to use the electronic platform in scientific laboratories and their characteristics in improving the laboratory report, the performance of the student in terms of acquiring the skills of many technologies, including the use of writing documents and data in addition to improving the method of writing the report and the organization of receipt of the report in addition to the abolition of the use of paper reports and laboratory lattice and providing them electronically. This is to reduce the cost of purchasing papers and files in writing the report. During the workshop, the experience of the power electronics lab in the Electrical Engineering Branch was presented in applying this system in the academic year 2017-2018.
